One thing has become increasingly clear: Automation for analysts has too frequently violated principles we humans expect from our IT. We expect that IT will exist to make our lives and missions easier and in too many cases IT actually complicates the workflow and reduces the contribution of analysts to missions.
Computers are important, and when designed, configured and implemented properly they can work wonders. But they have to be built around the principle that computers must do what computers do best, enabling humans to do what humans do best.
The integrations of technology and frameworks we propose all center around that core belief. The results we have seen can be dramatic. We have seen situations where analysts dramatically reduce the amount of time they spend searching/hunting for data, which gives them more time to process the data they find. We have also seen successful integrations of solutions which enable analysts to understand new information in the context of all old information. And we have seen technology capabilities that extract locational data and enable humans to interact with it fast. These and many more show great promise in transforming how analysts do work and hint at the core of many of the concepts we provide clients.
