CTOlabs.com has just completed a review of the security feature set being fielded into today’s hardware by Intel’s vPro suite. The results of this review are provided in a guide titled: Leveraging-Hardware-Design-for-Enhanced-Security
This review includes context, tips and strategies designed to dramatically enhance the security and functionality of enterprise IT. It highlights the contributions to security possible by enterprise use of open standards and security protocols being provided in today’s computer hardware. Use of these capabilities provides a foundation of security that enterprises can use today.
The threats to today’s enterprise come from all angles. They exploit any weakness. Mitigating these threats requires a full spectrum defense that starts with security features built into hardware. Our goal in providing this paper is to help enterprises enhance their full spectrum defense.
